How does The Yorkshire Pass work?
The Yorkshire Pass is a 'smart card' - which allows you cash free entry into your choice of over 70 attractions.
Once you have purchased your Yorkshire Pass you will not have to pay to get into any of the attractions included in the pass and the more you see, the more money you save.
Simply show your Yorkshire Pass at the admissions desk of any of the included attractions, it will then be swiped through a special machine and you will be allowed entry. View the full list of Yorkshire attractions you can get into free with the Yorkshire Pass.
Activating the Yorkshire Pass
The Yorkshire Pass records when and where you first use your pass, as well as how long the pass will remain valid for.
This means that should your travel arrangements change, your Yorkshire Pass is activated from the moment that you first use it at an attraction.
Your Yorkshire Pass is then valid for the number of days that you purchased - be it 1, 2, 3 or 6 days and is subject to the purse value of maximum gate prices related to the number of days. This means that for a one day adult pass you can visit up to £80 worth of attractions.
ADVICE: It is important to note that a ‘day’ is based on a calendar day, so should you first use your pass at 4pm on Monday. Monday is counted as day one of your pass usage.

Validity of the Yorkshire Pass
The Yorkshire Pass is valid for use on consecutive days only. At the end of your validity period or when your purse value has been used up, the pass will expire and will no longer allow access to attractions.
If, for example, you used a three day pass for the first time on Monday, your pass will cease working at the end of Wednesday, regardless of how often you have used it in between.
